Hans ist Biologe bei der Stiftung Arosa B\u00e4ren und dort in der Wissenschaftlichen Leitung t\u00e4tig. Seit Juli 2024 bringt er sein umfangreiches Fachwissen als Experte bei uns ein und tr\u00e4gt wesentlich zu unseren Tierschutzprojekten bei.<\/p>\n

Erz\u00e4hl uns etwas \u00fcber dich und dein Fachgebiet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Als dipl. Ingenieur Agronom ETH und Dr. sc. nat Universit\u00e4t Z\u00fcrich arbeitete ich in der Entwicklung von wirtschaftlichen und tiergerechten Haltungssystemen f\u00fcr Nutztiere sowie artgem\u00e4sse Gehege f\u00fcr Zootiere. Bis zur Pensionierung im Jahr 2021 leitete ich den Tierpflegebetrieb im Zoo Z\u00fcrich.<\/p>\n

Was hat dich dazu bewegt, dich f\u00fcr dein Fachgebiet einzusetzen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meine Freude, mit Tieren zu arbeiten und eine qualitative Verbesserung der Tierhaltung zu bewirken.<\/p>\n

Welche Kernherausforderungen in deinem Bereich m\u00fcssen aus deiner Sicht beachtet werden?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Das nat\u00fcrliche Verhalten von Tieren evolutiv verstehen. Mit diesem Verst\u00e4ndnis in einem Haltungssystem Voraussetzungen schaffen, damit die darin gehalenen Tiere ihr angeboren Bed\u00fcrfnisse ausleben k\u00f6nnen und t\u00e4glich nat\u00fcrlich besch\u00e4ftigt sind.<\/p>\n

Was stimmt dich positiv f\u00fcr unsere Zukunft? Was sind Entwicklungen, \u00fcber die wir unsere Community Bescheid wissen sollte?<\/strong><\/p>\n
